Marie in partnership with Northern Credit Union is excited to kick off 2023 with another Startup Talks event to celebrate and learn from the experiences of Sault Ste. Marie’s top entrepreneurs. Past entrepreneurs featured have included Jason Katzenback, Co-Founder of Amazing.com, Jeff Elgie, CEO of Village Media, Kevin Rusnell, CEO of DIG and Rhaelyn Gillespie, Co-founder of Mintier.

Join us on January 18th at 6:00 PM in the Steamfitters Lounge (in the Machine Shop), where our featured guest will be entrepreneur and best-selling author Chris Cooper, Founder & CEO of Two Brain Business and Catalyst Gym.

When Chris Cooper’s gym business was struggling, he started a blog to chronicle his comeback. Other gym owners resonated with Chris’ experience and honesty, and three years later, Chris had a bestselling book on the fitness business. When entrepreneurs began asking Chris “What should I do?” he founded Two-Brain Business to provide mentorship in the fitness space.

Chris will talk about his entrepreneurial journey from gym owner to best-selling author and founder of Two Brain Business, his thriving mentorship company in the fitness space. With over 800 client gyms and a team of over 45 mentors worldwide, Chris is now focused on helping the next generation of entrepreneurs through his new personal platform, BusinessIsGood.com. Chris will share his secrets of success, lessons learned and trials and tribulations along the way.
