StartUP Sault Ste. Marie is excited to announce the launch of its Social Enterprise Superheroes Campaign to support and recognize local social enterprises that have been leaders in supporting our community.
StartUP Sault, in partnership with Startup Canada is presenting the most deserving social enterprise with a gift basket ($150 value) loaded with locally made goods, including:
- Delicious Cornucopia gourmet popcorn
- Beautiful Hearterra reusable paper towels and all-natural hand sanitizer
- Decadent Afterglow Chocolate Co. treats
- A set of white board markers from Stone’s Office Supply for all your great brainstorming sessions
- An assortment of hot chocolates from Homespun Treasures
All the local treats were purchased at local, downtown stores during the recent Moonlight Magic event hosted by the Downtown Business Improvement Association.
We need the community’s help to nominate local Sault Ste. Marie social enterprises that have gone above and beyond during this pandemic and deserve a “pick-me-up” by being recognized for their resilience and treat themselves to a gift basket of local goodies. In addition, the winner will receive a two-hour social media strategy session courtesy of Cavera Inc., to help them maximize their impact online.
The nominee with the most votes by 4:00 PM on December 15th will be chosen as the winner. StartUP Sault will announce the winners on December 17th. In this campaign an eligible social enterprise is either a sault-based non-profit or charity that is making a positive local impact through its operations.
“Our non-profits, charities, and other social enterprises have worked tirelessly to support our community through COVID-19. We want this Superheroes Campaign to give some recognition to our local Social Enterprise Superheroes by providing a platform to highlight their great work,” states Kathleen Heymans, StartUP Sault board member.
